Marie Starek jewellery combines precious metals, natural stones and crystals, carefully selected for each creation. Depending on the design, our everyday jewellery is made from brass plated with 3 microns of 14-carat gold, vermeil — solid silver plated with 5 microns of 18-carat gold — or gold-filled metal.

Gold-filled metal consists of a layer of gold mechanically bonded to a base metal, thicker than conventional gold plating. Each product page specifies the exact composition of the piece.

Our jewellery is made to be worn, loved and treasured for years to come. Like any precious piece, it needs a little care to preserve its shine.

We recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming or exercising, and avoiding contact with perfume, creams, cosmetics and chemicals. Skin pH and perspiration can also naturally alter the appearance of certain finishes over time.

When you are not wearing it, keep your jewellery dry, ideally in its Marie Starek pouch and separate from other pieces to protect it from friction.

You have 14 days from receipt of your order to let us know that you wish to return a piece of jewellery. It must be returned unworn, in its original condition and packaging.
